Music gets you out of your head and into the moment.

As a professional photographer, I understand the importance of creating a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere for my clients during their photography sessions. One of the ways that I do this is by playing their favorite music during the shoot.

Music has the power to evoke emotions and memories, and by playing a client's favorite songs, I am able to create a personalized and enjoyable experience for them. It also helps to distract them from any nerves or discomfort they may have about being in front of the camera. Playing their favorite music also helps to create a sense of familiarity and comfort for my clients. It reminds them of happy memories and can put them at ease, resulting in more natural and authentic poses and expressions. I find this especially helpful for dad's that aren't excited about getting their pictures taken. It tends to make them more playful with their children or scoop up their wife and spin her around.

Additionally, music can also set the tone and mood for the shoot. Whether it's upbeat and energetic or slow and romantic, the right music can help to convey the desired atmosphere and add an extra layer of creativity to the final images. Music can also serve as inspiration for poses and actions. For example, if I am playing a song with a strong beat, I might encourage my client to move and groove to the rhythm, resulting in more dynamic and lively photos. I find that clients come alive and out of their shell when familiar songs are playing.

Playing my clients' favorite music during their photography sessions is a simple yet effective way to create a comfortable and personalized experience for them. It can help to evoke emotions, set the tone and mood, and even serve as inspiration for poses and actions. As a result, the final images will be more natural, authentic, and creative.
